How do I count your comments?

Thank you so much Jes and Sherry for all your harwork and patience here is the tally of you comments. First, let me tell you how I count your comments. My comments is set on moderation right? So I will have to approve your comments first before it gets posted in my blogs as comment. For every comment to be approved there is a notification email sent to me that someone just left a comment in my blog for approval such as this one. As you can see, time stamp and the name of the person who left the comment is indicated, as well as the location on which post did the commentor left it.

Once I approve the comment another notification will be sent such as this one notice the difference. Only the comment minus the informations.

So that means for every comment made there will be 2 notifications sent to my email, then I will just move it in a folder with the corresponding date as unread. Why do I mark it is unread? that is the trick, in yahoo mail, unread mail are counted and refelected as seen here.

Note: this is not te final count I still have to recheck if there are 2 notifications sent or just one and also to check if there are mails mark as read.


So the total number of unread mail for that folder divided by 2 is the total number of comments made on that day.
At least this is how I intended to count it.But from December 20 to present only 1 notification is being sent. So I dont have to divide it anymore. The actual notifications sent is the actual count of comments, it made it more easy for me.
So follow this link for the tally of comments. Let's see if Jes and Sherry gets to double their prize.

I got the Prize

Earth and I agreed to meet today at Rockwell, Power Plant Mall. She is a little late but, its ok because I am not in a hurry to go back to work. We agreed to mit at Marks and Spencer, while waiting I bought gift for my mom., stroll downstairs and got some taste test from the bakers fair. That is also where I bought some brownies for Earth. She was stuck in traffic, so I sat on the bench in front of the meeting place. Soon she came, I was able to recognize her instantly, she's petite and pretty, sweet and friendly. We went downstairs to pick for a resto to eat in. She suggested Dulcinea, so we went there ordered Lasagna and ice tea, some churros too. At first we not that comfortable yet, not much of talking then she asked me if I have blogging for a long time already, and the conversation took of. We mostly talked about blogs, events, pr and paid post. I learned a lot from her. I will surely register on the sites that she told me. Thanks for the prize Earth, I'll just text you my paypal address for the $10.

Contest Update! A turn of events!

There's a lot to say for today's update. First, Chris left a message that she is "waving her white flag already" surrendering to (Chris oops sorry.. haha) I mean Jes and Sherry. But, while Chris is surrendering to the almost clear winner, there is a twist. Today, as of 10:51 pm Jes was able to comment 86 comments only. That means she will not be able to double her prize, but she will still win the toy if you ranked 2nd to Sherry. Since Chris has declared surrender, Jes you are still on 2nd place. Unless, Jes will be able to comment 14 mpre comments before midnight, then her prize can still be doubled. Sherry, on the other hand is firing like a machine gun with her comments. Is it unfair for other participants?

Sherry, was asking if other participants will mind if I offer to double her prize if she happen to comment at least a hundred per day. I believe that other participants will not be offended if I do that because, we all know that at this point Sherry is a sure winner. Others will not be able to catch up with her, that is why I am already giving away (2) two prizes, specifically because, I want somebody else to win the toy. It will be very hard for others to catch up, so since Sherry is a sure winner, in which she will receive the cash prize equal to the amount of the tot. The actual toy is still up for grabs for the 2nd highest commenter. My offer to double Sherry's cash prize if she will be able to post at least 100 comments per day will not affect who ever is the second winner, because as I have said she is already a sure winner. This means Sherry is only against herself, if she happen to comment at least 100 per day she will double her cash prize and if not she will still receive the cash prize equal to the actual amount of the toy. So I belive it is clear already.
For the sake of this new development, I will post update of Sherry's comments per day, so that she'll know if she was able to reach her goal. The rest of the participants point stats will not be declared so that they can still have fair competition for the toy only rankings will be posted:

Contest Update 2 weeks before it ends

I'd like to thank everybody who joined. The give away is not as successful as expected, only very few participants are really into it. I believe it is because I cannot join..hehehe. My Vtech is arriving

My cousin Eidrin will be arriving in a few days. He will bring with him the vtech smile learning system that I purchased from ebay. I purposely had the seller shipped to him so that I can save on the shipping cost, but the downside of it is that I wasnt able to check the item. I asked my cousin to checked it for me, but he is just too busy, I cant really complain because I just asked a favor. I hope its in good condition, I just hope that they dont have a sucky service.
