Santa's Gift

I have been listing down little J's Christmas Wish, now I'm going to list down my own.
Since, I feel really blessed, I have to think hard of what to ask Santa. I am considering that my Santa is the Lord, so this Christmas wish is also like a prayer to God. So here it is:

1. I wish for our family to stay together and always love and understand each other even though we have a very dis functional family, really chaotic household but I still consider that with all the hardship that we went through and still mange to stick together, heck this is one family that will always stick together. Even though we always have petty quarrels we always manage to make peace with each other.

2. I wish for healthy life for all of us, my parents are not getting any younger so I hope they stay healthy as now, also for little J and me too.

3. I wish for more clients for my work and more bonus for me.

4. I wish to have time for myself and my friends.

5. I wish that little J will do great in school as she is doing now. If she keeps on getting perfect grades she may be accelerated, let's see.

6. I wish to meet more wonderful friends here online. More opps too!

7. I wish to find that someone who will love me and little J, the way we deserve to be loved, or for a miracle that little J's father and me to get back together. But again, I think it will take a miracle to make that happen.

These are all the things that I wish for for the next year. I am looking forward for a wonderful 2009, I will take a lot of pictures for this holiday season. I will post it here soon and hopefull to be framed in a digital frame. What about you? got a wish?

I am including a video here on how to put all those pictures in a digital frame, perfect for the holidays.

What did you get from Santa?

I remember when I was a kid, I always get something from Santa. I got lots of toys. I get a Barbie doll, almost every year that I why I was able to accumulate about 20 Barbie dolls from my childhood, three of which was handed done to little J. Sadly, it became too brittle because of its age and in just a few weeks with little J the Barbie lost an arm and a leg and the head too. Good thing little J has her own Barbie dolls so she didn't feel too bad about my old Barbie. I also remember receiving another doll that stands up and wiggles her butt. I loved it so much that when I decided to "leave home" when my mom got angry at me, I brought it with me, together with a bag full of clothes and went out our house and sat by our gate the whole afternoon. When I got hungry, I went back home and said my sorry to my mom. I think I was about 8 years old then. I also remember receiving a letter from Santa Clause when I was 12 years old, saying that "Santa" loves me so much but he is just too old to visit me every Christmas, that he will not be able to come back for the next Christmas, as if I didn't knew that. I have a lot of memories about Santa. I wish I can keep all of it in a digital photo frame. Little J got a wish of receiving this talking doll for Christmas, I am thinking about buying it too, but I already spent so much for her gifts this year. I am also thinking that she will easily lose interest in playing with this doll, just like the other dolls. She love dolls, but not as much as she loves "playing Chef ", that is also the reason why I opted to buy the Pink kitchen set for her, even though it is so expensive. By the way, I got the Pink Kitchen Set already, and I left to with my aunt for safe keeping until Christmas, so that little J won’t know.

What about you? What did you receive from Santa? Do you know that by this time you can store those memories in a digital photo frame? It’s very easy to do, Santa himself will guide you. It’s fun and entertaining, so click and check it out?

A gift from Santa

You all know what I am going to give to little J on Christmas right? But, that doesn't end there. I still have to buy another gift as a gift from "Santa". You all know waht I'm talking about right? I am thinking od givibg her a toy doll. I saw this toy doll in Toy Kingdom, pretty much like the "Baby Alive doll". It talks and say "mommy", "papa" and a lot more. It giggles and even snores. She also drinks milk, and you can actually see the lips move a bit when you give her, her milk. She also wiggles when you tickle her. Very cute, and it is not as expensive as the baby alive doll, it is for Php869.00 only. Ok I know, that's a little expensive too, but the baby alive doll retails from PhP2700 to P4600, depending on the model, so compared to that it is really cheap.

I really have to stop buying anything, I already spent about Php6000 for little J's Christmas present alone. The kitchen set is about Php5000, then I also purchased a vtech smile learning system at around Php1500, now I'm planning to buy the doll at Php869.00. I really like to shower her with blessings. I should better get a hold of myself.

I am thinking of giving her art supplies, something that can actually fit insite the stocking. I already bought art papers, set of brushes, markers, paints, and yesterday I was able to buy stamps at Php26.00 only for a set of 4. I also bought her books na pala...8 pop-up books, a learning to read book, fairy tales, Science beginners and fairy activity books.. oh and the learn to play the piano. I got the books at 20% discount and 5% rebate. So I was able to save around Php800 from those books too.

What about you guys? Do you give 2 gifts too? One from "Santa" and one from you?

4 Great Holiday Gift Idea

Opp-300x300
I am writing my list for the holiday gift giving, I am afraid I might go over board and spend so much. Sometimes, when we are om a shopping spree, we tend to forgot what are the necessities, to keep me within the budget I will write down everything with their correspondinf alloted amount. First of the list would be little J of course, then the rest of the family. Godsons and daughters and lastly new wardrobe for myself. I promised to buy myself new clothes, and maybe a new pair of shoes. The rest will be for savings. I will buy myself a new thumb drive because I lost mine a few months back. With all the blogging now I need to have one with a lot of memory capacity. This will also be a goodpersonalized holiday gifts, I can get for my father. Its personal, but yet functional too. Im sure he will like it. I can also get a pen for my sister-in-law, that will be a safe gift to give. I remember, my brother gave me a personalized pern before. A congratulatory gift for me for passing the board exams, my name is engraved on the pen. It says, "ARCH. JOANNES PAULA ESPINO", that's the first time that I saw an "Arch." before my name. I remember how happy I was to receive it. It feel nostalgic, looking back. It is nice to remember this things every so often, it gives you happy feeling. I felt the pride again, I felt that my family actually do love me. I have forgot all about that now. It is nice to remember. They deserve nice Christmas gifts, I will be off to the mall tonight to shop for them.

Wordless Wednesday|Im torn! Should I buy this for little J?

The first time I saw this, it was not even for sale yet.I found it in the warehouse of Come and Play when we picked up some of the toys I ordered. I instantly fell in love with it. This is exactly what my daughter would want for Christmas. I'd love to give it to her but, it is expensive, about $80. Ok, I know its more expensive that the other brands being sold online, but Php 4000 is still a huge amount of money here in the Philippines. That could have paid for 1 month of my daughter's tuition or 2 months worth of milk and baon. It cost too much, but she also deserves it. since she did very well in school with straight "A" grades. What do you think? Should I buy this? I do have a budget for it, because mommy's blogging.

Got a Wish?

Got a Wish Sweeepstakes

This is really cool, I urge all of you to try it. You will get Santa to Grant you a wish, and he will give exactly what you wanted. Its so cute. There is even an elf with him. The set is like the modern Santa Toy factory with the elves. There are two more elves at the back manning the computer. Their job is to input the wishlist with the corresponding names and wishes of the children. At first the video will tell you about how to go about the process. You have to be ready for a picture to upload. I wasn't I should have chosen a better one. It would be really nice if you pick the right picture. You will see your child's picture in the frame in the video where Santa and the elf are talking. Its like you are originally part of it. Then the video will show a Wish book, where you will get to see the names of the children and their wishes, before the 2 elves at the back will input you wish. Your daughter or son, will truly believe the video. Its as if Santa sent you a video to show exactly what he is giving this Christmas. I hope I can try this again, and put the right picture for it. It would be nice to show to my little girl. Its very convincing if you are a kid. Really cool.

Zenni Optical

Since I am looking for Christmas Gifts, I am scouting for a Great Eyeglasses For Less. I am eyeing some new eyeglasses for my mom, something really nice. Something hip and fashionable. I was able to catch some new styles of eyeglasses while watching the news. Its so nice that Zenni Optical was on FOX news!. They are so cute, something chic but still decent for an eyeglass. Nothing too funky that will make my mom looks like she's trying too much to be hip and cool, just nice. They have Variable Dimension Frames From Zenni, which is just right, there are a lot of designs to choose from. I just wish I can find the Zenni on Fox here. This frame reminds me of Madagascar 2. Isin't it cute?

Christmas Wish List # 6

It is either this one or wishlist # 5. They are about the same cost, but I dont know which one will be practical in terms of educational progress of little J and durability. I am afraid that the tag read pen is easy to lose. But I love it that it will teach little J to be more indipendent.

Christmas Wish List # 5

Im still contemplating if I'm going to buy this or my Christmas Wishlist #6. I'll decide lator on.

Introducing Tag - the amazing touch reading system for beginning readers.

Perfectly sized for little hands, the Tag Reader is a touch-and-talk reading device that brings stories to life like never before and offers insights into what your child is learning. As children touch the Tag Reader to the pages of specially printed storybooks, a small camera in the tip "reads" the pages, enabling children to hear words and stories read aloud. Characters, pictures and learning activities spring to life with every touch, immersing children in the thrill of reading.

Designed for children four to eight, the Tag Reading System works with a broad library of more than 20 books and games. Children can explore classic books such as Olivia and The Little Engine That Could, or join popular characters such as SpongeBob SquarePants and Ariel the Little Mermaid in new reading adventures. Leveled learning activities in every book adjust automatically to your child's pace, helping build confidence and a love of reading that lasts a lifetime.

Amazingly easy to use, the Tag Reader holds audio for up to five books at a time. Simply connect the Tag Reader to your computer with the included USB cable, download the audio for your Tag books and drag-and-drop up to five of your children's favorite stories onto your Tag Reader.

While online, you can also see your children's progress in recent books, get detailed updates on the skills they are exploring and share in their accomplishments by creating a free LeapFrog® Learning Path. The Tag Reading System is one of three new LeapFrog Connected learning systems that connect to the LeapFrog Learning Path, empowering you to get regular insights into your child's learning

Christmas WishList#3

I'm sure little J would love this.

Phone Number To Call

I found wonderful gifts for little for Christmas, but the problem is its all available in the US. I can have them shipped here but its much too costly, I'll be paying more than 100% of the original prize. Just like the My Mommy's Tote book, it cost less than $10 but the shipping cost for international shipping would be $12. I would not like to spend that much on shipping only. So I got an idea of having it delivered to my cousin in Sacramento, around the USA shipping is free. Then he can just bring is here December, since he is coming for Nong-nang's wedding. If only I have Mobile Phone Reverse Lookup I can get his number and call hime to ask for their address. I better ask my brother about it.

Holiday Gift Suggestion

I already started a wish list for little J in my previous post, but what about me? So for all those who loves me and cannot think of something to give me this holiday season, I'll give you an idea of what are the things that I'd like to receive.

Since I don't like make up or cosmetics and it will be really hard to find a dress that will fit me. Don't worry I'm having a hard time myself looking around the shopping malls here. I maybe shopping online instead of squeezing myself in the over crowded shopping mall. Traffic jam is also a big problem during the holiday season, everybody is out looking for gifts for their love ones.

To spare my love ones from the hassle of the traffic jam, crowded shopping malls, rude sales ladies and more mean shoppers. I would like to suggest to just buy me this perfume, I am not the all made up full of make up type, but I surely would love to smell nice. What I love about this site is that you have a lot of choices. From apparels, to jewelries and of course perfumes and colognes. So, for those who are still thinking of what they will give me for this Christmas season just follow the link and purchase. That's all click, click and click.

Shopwiki is a notch better than other online shops. Here they show everything not just the store that pay for the advertisement. All options are shown. The website is also very friendly user, there are links that can easily be seen. All items are categorized for more easier navigation.

Christmas Wish List#1 My Mommy's Tote

Since Christmas is very near I will be posting little J's Christmas Wish List, to give ideas to the Ninong and Ninang out there!
First on the list is My Mommy's Tote its a book, its a toy. I'm not quite sure, what I'm sure off is that little J will love to get this one.

My Mommy’s Tote is an interactive activity / board book (though it’s only loosely a “book” in that it’s really more like a three dimensional object with different sections that fold down somewhat like pages) for kids 3 and up. In many ways, this is about 50% toy and 50% book...but that adds up to 100% fun and interesting.

The book features more than 75 different objects (from mommy’s laptop to credit cards to keys to a handkerchief) and 30 activities (things come out, things fold open, clock hands that move, etc.), so there’s lots for busy little hands to get into. There’s even some learning involved, as there’s a spinning wheel that features the alphabet and numbers.

If you’ve got an active youngster that wants to dig into mommy’s real purse or tote, here’s a safe alternative to give them. With so many different things to look at and do, it should keep a youngster occupied for quite some time.
