There are a lot of teenagers going into drugs, and I just pity them moreover their parents. I really don't get it, why do they have to go into things like this, this will not just ruin their life but their family lives too. I found this

What 2009 may bring?

Alcoholism
Alcoholism is an on-going battle here in the Philippines. Filipinos like to drink regularly that's way some developed drinking as a habit. Most of the time you'll see a group of men drinking beer on the street, I do hate to see them there. It ha been a problem in our barangay for so long. I can't understand why the Barangay Officials cannot make them stop. These men, who has nothing better do, starts drinking from sunset until dawn and most of the time they end up int fist fight. I cannot understand why do they have to drink all night to end up fighting with eachother and this happen every night. I don't have repect for this kind of people, they don't work and they just stay there in the streets all day and just waiting for the sun to set to start their drinking session, they should be sent to alcoholism rehab.

Pop-up books are sure fun!
I am happy that I already made my first succesfull shipment to Jes. She won in my December commenting game and I sent her, her bonus prize last week. Just look at how happy her kids are to recieve the pop-up books. She even mentioned that her kids are so amazed by the pop-up book that they went wild opening the package.

Dealing with Clients
Since I am getting to Professional Practice again, I am reviewing UAP Documents. So that I'll know how much to charge my clients. I am excited to go back to being an Architect. I mean I am an architect and still work in a company as one, but it feels different if I am the one talking to clients, making schemes, making presentations. I even miss the grueling schedule of going from one supplier to the next, looking at materials, bargain with the supplier. Heck, I even miss the smell of a construction site. I love all the phase of construction. Design, presentation, purchasing, site supervision. What I don't like about it is the client part. I know, that is where it all starts but I really need to deal well with clients so that I will not need to have lawsuit funding in case we get in arguments. I know it will not come to that, but there are also clients that take advantage of us. They will ask us to do all this designs with lots of revisions only to say in the end that they will not push through with the construction because they dont have enough budget for it.

Weekend Snapshot
We went to Kids Ahoy for Music and Rhythm class and a TV shoot. Yes, that's right. Little J, along about 20 other kids are there for a TV shoot for TV5 Kiddie Kwela. I wan't able to take photos because I have to go outside the are so that little J will see me right infront of her outside the window. We are lucky that MOmmy J, chose J to be one of the first set, if not, I'm sure we will not be able to do it. By that time little J is already uneasy, maybe because she's already tired. She went to sleep as soon as she sat in the cab on our way home.

My mom is off to USA
My moms trip to US is really full. She will be landing in San Diego and stay there for 2 nights, at 2 different households. First in my uncle's house, then the 2nd night at her friend's house who is a very successful real state broker. I learned that she has sold a lot of new san diego bank homes even in this time of recession. Then off she go to Fresno where she will mit her college friend, Tita Celdy. Then she will go to LAs Vegas to visit my aunt and stay there for a few days. Then she will go back to Los Angeles to meet her cousin, then she will go to Sacramento to meet my other cousin. She has a fully booked itenerary for this trip. All of that in just 2 weeks.
