I am Urgently looking for a yaya! I am so angry!

I am urgently looking for a yaya, or at least for somebody who can take care of little J twice a week, Tuesdays and Fridays. Little J is in school all day every M-W-Th so there is no need for a yaya on those days since Im the one who take care of all here things, brings and fetch her to/from school. My ever "reliable" (imagine with the most sarcastic tone) cousin who watches over her during those days is throwing a tantrum and didn't show up today. All she has to is watch over her, that's all nothing more, since I preapre all her needs before I go to work. I even cook food for them for thewhole day before I leave and that "very reliable" (with most sarcastic tone again) doesn't do anything but wash dishes and text all day. She doesn't even look after little J, since little J stays in the house plays peacefully with her toys. Ok she bathes her too, but that's it!I am ranting, yes I am! I am so angry, beause this people who we helped put to school and literally put food thier table is very ungrateful, they even have the guts to deny our request of looking over little J. I hate them so much, if they are not the most laziest people on earth, I don't know who else. I know she is my cousin, but I am really angry. We have been suporting them financially all this years, my mom even put his brother to school, my mom paid for everything for his college, even his board and lodging. We even bought him nice clothes and treated him as brother, he finished nursing alright, but got a girl pregnant before doing so. I am not self righteous or anything, yes I am a single mom and I got pregnant too before getting married, but I am already a licensed architect at that time, with very good high paying job. Its not an excuse, but I am not dependent at all unlike them! If only a valued myself more than my family, and think of my own happiness and can just run away with the father of my child whom I still love up to now. Their family is what we sometimes call "foundation", because they are so dependent on us and my other titas. The father is a scumbag alcoholic who was never responsible of taking care of his family of 5. My aunt, who is my cousin's mom is a stay at home mom, who has been sick with diabetes for so long and relying from the donations of my aunts for her medicines. The eldest died a few years ago because of sickness, the 2nd guy is a tambay who never finished high school even if my aunts are supporting him to go to school, the 3rd guy is the one my mom helped all through out nursing school, and the 4th one is this girl cousin that I really hate right now. She has nothinging better to do at home but "tambay". She'd rather stand all day at the corner of their street for an endless "chismis" with her "tambay friends" than go to our house and look over little J which I pay her to do by the way. I hate them so much!!!! They are really the laziest people on earth, if they are not my family I could have called them much worse!

I'm sorry, if I'm being too harsh but I am really mad. I swear, if she doesn't come by on friday to watch over little J. I will not be giving any support to their family at all. To think, that I even gave her money to buy her Christmas Clothes, when I didn't buy new clothes for myself, I really hate her!

Why do I blog?

So Not Domestic
A contest over So not Dometic is asking why I started blogging.

Looking back, I started blogging for the simple reason that I wanted to document all the milestones and developments of my then 1 and half year old daughter. As written on my header for my other blog Sweet..Pretty..Naughty..

This is all about the sweet.. pretty.. and most of the time naughty 2 yr old girl jea. Lots of anecdotes about her everyday adventure. All her first.. some are funny.. some are terrifying...but most are cute stuff and treasured memories...

This is first and foremeost my reason for blogging, heck I didn't even know that I can earn from it, only learned it a few months back.

We are going to Disneyland!!!!

For little J's 4th birthday, I plan to go to Disneyland HongKong. Actually I really wanted this for her 3rd birthday but she is not ready yet, she is still scared of mascots and not to mention the budget constraints. I am still contemplaiting if I can really afford it, with the airfare, hotel accomodations and Disney entrance fee, it will cost me an arm and a leg and maybe even the whole body. But i got a good news today! My friend Kate, who works in Disneyland as a parade dancer can give us 3 free entrance tickets, not to mention a 40% discount in Disney Hotel. That is something that I really can't pass on. We already pass on the Shangri-la Boracay accomodations for this year and that includes airfare ha, only because we wanted to go as a whole family, but everybody is just too busy to sneak in a free vacation to Boracay, the gift certificate just lapse. Sayang tlga! I really can't afford to miss this. Little J will get to meet Mickey soon. We are surely going to Disneyland even if it is just the 2 of us!

Little J's birthday is on June 7, so there is a long time to save up for it. Since I am already cleared from all my debts and my biggest overhead each month will only be for little J's school and my last payment for school year is this month, Im sure I can save up for this trip. Hopefully I'll get a lot of opps too.

Ticap Sticks!!!! Little J's Recipe

I don't usually blog about recipes its not my kind of thing, although I can brag a little that I do cook quite good most of the time, except for some "accidents". I would like to share this recipe for all of you because of the funny moments that goes along with it.

On Christmas Eve, didn't cook much, I only cooked the pasta which little J fondly calls "Ticap Sticks". Do you wonder why? Imagine how you cook spaghetti pasta, you put it in a boiling water while holding a whole bunch verticaly and then slowly releasing it right? Just how we play "pick up sticks" remember? That's how this recipe got its name.

We like our spaghetti not the Filipino style, meaning we don't like it sweet and without hotdog. We like it the classic italian style, tomato sauce that really taste like tomatoes and no meat. We do put ground meat sometimes, or even corn beef. But for Christmas Eve this is what I cooked.

1pack of spaghetti noodles
1l Hunts cheese tomato sauce
1 can mushroom
garlic
onions
fresh basic leaves
1/2 cup of grated cheddar cheese
1/2 cup of grated edam chese

This is the simplest recipe, but really yummy!

Cook the pasta as written in the package

Saute onions and garlic, until brown and translucent. Add the buttom mushrooms (s
liced into pieces) until golden brown. You can add ground beef at this part too if you like yours with meat. I opt to just separately cook chicken cordon blue with bacon and cheese as meetballs for this recipe. Cooked until brown, add the can of tomato sauce, simmer and add the cheddar chese until melted. I like it, when its not fully melted, so I add cubes of cheese instead of all grated. I'd like to bite into chunks of cheese, its like a surprise. Add the chopped basic at the very end.

So here it is!

Little J loved it so much. After a few days, this recipe turned to another recipe, read here.

My Sweetytots got a pagerank!!!!!

This is really good news! Such a blessing from google to start the year. I've been neglecting my sweetytots blog for sometime now, because keeping several blogs for updating and trying to gain traffic is really tiring for me. I admit I was just too lazy to post on both blogs, but with a pagerank I am all fired up to post as much as I can on both blogs.

Think Thin Thursday Week 1

(Just click on the image if your interested to join)
The Not-So-Blog

As part of my New Years Resolution, I am joining Think Thin Thursday and try to lose weight. I am hoping, by joining this group I will be more strict to myself and be more focused on my goal.

My first step to my weight loss goal is to buy a weighing scale. HAHA.. I'm so scared to see how I weigh, that I haven't weighed myself for more than 2 years.

WEEK 1 Goal
I am thinking to start easy, but I have to plunge into this goal to really see results so for this week my goal is to not eat rice!
Ok, done with the whole holiday thing, I should really stop myself from this eating marathon so I am going cold turkey, no rice for me at all. This is my first day, and I am proud to say that I am succesful, didn't any rice today. Just fish, and 1 pc of chicken nuggets, some fruits and some squid too. But, I must admit that I indulge with a serving of churros con chocolate with my mom over coffee, but I can have that as next weeks goal. For now, no rice !

Btw, my starting weight is 1*5lbs.. hhaha.. 2nd digit is not shown. I'll post it, someday when I have enough courage to let everybody know. My target weight is 135lbs. That is normal for my height, but I would love to be back to 120lbs or even 100lbs, which is how much I weight 7 years ago. I was really underweight.

My New Years Resolution

I will list down 10 New Years Resolution. I am crossing my fingers that I can do it this time.
1. My biggest issue really is my weight, ever since I became I mom I neglected myself and didn't really care how I look, because of that I gained 60lbs in 3 years. So my first goal for this year is to lose weight. I would like to join Think Think Thursdays to keep track of my progress. Hope this will help me, stick to my goal. The Not-So-Blog
2. Next to my weight, my problem would be my temper. I will try my best to be nice and calm this year. I don't like myself anymore because of this, I am always angry.
3. To improve my relationship with God, I tried this year but again failed.
4. Stop procrastination! I am so guilty with this.
5. I already shared that I am happy on how my finances went for this year, but I'd like to improve more on that. I would like to religiously save at least PHP3,000 per payday. I believe this should be easy for me, since I have been paying Php6,000 per pay day on my loan for the last year. I should be able to stick to this. I kept the amount low, so I can give a little of indulgence for myself this year, maybe some shopping money to spare for myself or little J.
6. To take of myself sometimes and go to spa or salon.
7. To spend at least 1hour per weekday with little J alone, without TV or internet, at least 5hours on weekends.
8. To get in touch with my friends at least once a month.
9. To keep away from sweets and salty food. (This will be the hardest one for me)
10. To smile more, sing and just be happy!

Happy New Year to All of You!
