We didn't move to a new house, not yet. We moved our bedroom, we use to occupy a part of the living room for sleeping, even though we have 3 vacant bedrooms. Weird? Yes, but we had to, because pest took over the bedrooms a few months ago. We didn't have a choice but to move out and use part of the living room as our sleeping area.
After a long term of pest control treatment, and a very expensive treatment. Change of whole set of beddings, mattress and even bed frame we finally moved back to the bedroom. We really need to organize a lot of stuff, things just like the bathroom cabinets. There should be specific boxes of cubicles for everything. We moved to my old bedroom, I used to occupy that bedroom back in college. Then we had a renovation on the 5th floor, additional 2 bedrooms we're added, and the powder room was converted to a bigger common bathroom. everything was demolished and new bathroom furniture was added. With the new furniture comments a new vanity which I really, really like. Back to my moving bedroom story, this old-new bedroom is a lot smaller than what we used to occupy, but we didn't have a choice. Since we converted my bedroom on the 4th floor to a walk-in-closet, we will have to use my old bedroom as our new bedroom. It is just too much hassle if we have to take out all our clothes from there, and put back the bed. Since the bedroom on the 3rd floor is free to use, we opt to move in there. Its a lot smaller but also very convenient, most of little J's things are already downstairs and it is also in the same floor as the living areas, right beside the dining, living and most importantly the kitchen. We also have a separate toilet and bath on the 3rd floor, so its really convenient.
We will have to take off the old wallpaper and repaint the whole thing, maybe even repair the ceiling. The good thing is that, since the 4th floor bedroom is only filled with clothes and serves as our walk-in-closet, the other half is clear which I plan to convert to little J's playroom. Since I am buying the kitchen set for little J, I am also planning to make a sofa set and dining set for her. I can already imagine how beautiful it will look like.
