I'm so happy to be accepted in the Beachbody Team by my coach Ashley Girard. My weight has been an on-going problem for me ever since I had my daughter. Well, that was my excuse. I got pregnant so it is naturally accepted fact that moms get fat, but it doesn't have to be that way. I have lost the fat and just to gain it back again so many times before. As of the moment, I am not overweight, as the ideal weight for my height is about 185lbs, but I still want to lose 10-20lbs more. I want to lose just a few pounds so I can wear nice clothes again and just to have that energy to do a lot of things. I don't want to lose more than that because I think I don't look good thin. I just want to sculpt my body to get the nice curves and I want to get back my confidence.
I have yo-yo dieted for a long time. Being around with my family who constantly eats junk food and sweets, it is really hard to stay away from. We love chocolates, we love desserts, we love anything sweet and being Asian we also eat a lot of carbohydrates. We eat a lot of rice, bread, pasta. Every meal consist of loads and loads or carbohydrates, salt and sweet. Hmmmm, not a goo combination right. So today I will start my day 1 again. I will not let my schedule or my partners schedule interfere with my goals.
Join me in my journey. Let's work out together. Let's start our new healthy life. So here's for the new me!!!
How about you? Care to share your story? Comment below..

My online loots
I was trigger happy with the mouse a few days ago, I was in panic buying mode at ebay because my mom is going to US and I am determined to put a lot in her baggage for little J's loots. I am fond of buying online since I got a good buys already, the Baby Alive doll which I bought for just $2 and vtech learning system at a very reasonable price too. I am searching for diet pills that work, I hope I can add that to my online loots too. I searched the web for information about this stuff, of course I wanted to lose weight, but I want to be sure that it is safe for me to use. I had to read a lot of diet pill reviews
for me to be able to learn more about it. I got into on website that offers exactly what I've been looking for, a safe, natural and healthy way of loosing weight. I just hope I am not to lazy to exercise so I will not have to resort to the best diet pills. I also need a lot of time and determination to reach my goal, and right now I don't have the luxury of time at all.

Think Thin Thursday #5
OK for this week, I didn't do well. I resumed into eating rice again. I have sick with colds and flu and as a defense mecahnism I ate. I am always feeling dizzy because of the the sickness so I ate. I ate a lot of rice. I also didn't get to fulfill my goal of staying away from the salt.
I think the only thing I am proud of is that I amanged to exercise. I did a 30 min spinning class last Saturday when we checked-in at Dusit Hotel. I also walked my way to JP Rizal office, then walked to BDO bank in Rockwell and walked back to Prit house office yesterday, which is about 20 mins.
Goals:
1. 1/2 cup of rice in the afternoon and no rice at night.(failed)
2. 10-12 glassese of water.(accomplished)
3. 1 pc of chocolate per day (accomplished)
4. 1 fruit per day (accomplished)
5. new goal 15 mins of threadmill 2x a week. (accomplished) with bonus of Hula Dancing.
6. Lay off the salt.(failed)
I will be reading more of the post in this health blog to learn more from the health fellow. I'd like to learn more ways on how to stay on track with my trying to lose weight goal. For this week, my weight is stagnant on 1*0lbs, I did't lose weight, but at least I didn't gain it back.

I have to lose 20 lbs.

I wish I can find a Flat Belly Diet that is good enough to make me lose 20lbs by next month. I know, I cannot do a crash diet, but I really have to lose weight before December 21. Its my brother's church wedding and I am the maid of honor. I already have my gown, its nice, but I myself got shocked on how big it it. Its huge, twice as wide as my gown in my 18th birthday. I know I should not be comparing my body to what I looked almost 10 years ago but it is just so big. I torso part is very wide, wide enough to fit two 3 year old kid inside. It is scary, but that's what happens when a mom neglected herself, and went to eating ice cream and cakes to release stress. I really like to loose at least 20lbs, I don't know if I have the perseverance and the motivation to do that.
Right now I am taking Metformine, a pill for diabetics, to block all sugar. Hopefully this helps. I asked a cousin who is a doctor if it is safe for me to take it even if I am not diabetic, so as to help out to lose some weight. Fortunately for me he said yes, what it does is it block starch conversion to sugar, and we all know sugar and starch are the culprits in having those big belly and flabby arms. I am also trying not to eat rice at night, and to eat more vegetables. I am also taking Fit n Right juice drink, hopefully to also help me.
But I know, these are all artificial aide, I have to exercise and watch my diet. This is where I always fail, I hate exercise, I feel like I have so many other important things to do than run on the thread mill. But I have to correct that mind set, losing some weight is important for me. I should always put that in mind.

My steps and tools to be healthy:
My height is 5'8" and I weigh 185lbs. (i think) I havent really stepped on scale in 4 years. Normal weight for my height is 135-158lbs. My long time goal is to reach 135lbs. My goal for December is to reach the 158lbs. The first thing I'm going to do is buy a weighing scale and actually step on it.
Plan:
Your Recommended Calorie Levels
To lose approximately 1 lb. a week:
You should take in about 1609 calories/day.
To maintain your weight:
you should take in approximately 2109 calories
Your Body Fat Percentage = 39% = overweight (normal is 21-33%)
Your Current BMI: 27 = overweight (normal is 18.5-24.9)
A man of your height should weigh between 125 and 158 pounds to maintain a normal BMI.
