Trapped at home

Im happy that today is a non-working day, but sad to see the rain pouring down. We are trapped in the house, we cannot go out to go to the mall. I'd like to go to the mall to buy some nice clothes for little J. Lookd like I have to change our plans. We will just do some artwork at home. It would still be fun. What matters is that I get to spend some precious time with little J.

Pagan Site

The internet is really full of different things. As I surf in the net, I saw this Pagan Magic - Wicca & Witchcraft Shop. I find Wicca very interesting back in high school. Its full of mysteries. In a family of catholics, its out of the ordinary to be interested in pagan-magic. The best that I could go into it would be by playing sims, makin magic. There are lots of things in the website, things that I wouldnt know would be useful in wicca.

It is timely that I saw this site, I am looking for Halloween costume for little J. A witch costume will be great. I wonder if there is a rag doll and needles. That would reslly cute, that will surely go along with the witch costume. Maybe there is also a broom stick for little girls. But this is a real pagan site, not a Halloween costume store. They might be offended if I use their stuff for costume. These are real people, real community. They might have different belief from my catholic belief, but we just have to respect theirs, just as how we wanted to be respected with our own belief. We all have to respect each others individualities.

Wordless Wednesday #19

Playing with make-up.
I have another entry here

8 facts about me

Thanks Eds for this tag. She dint tagged me, but I grabbed it from her.

Simple Rules
1. Each player starts with eight random facts/habits about themselves.
2. People who are tagged need to write their own blog about their eight things and post these rules.
3. At the end of your blog, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names.
4. Don’t forget to leave them a comment telling them they’re tagged, and to read your blog.
8 Facts/habits about me:
1. I am a single mom, who went through a difficult, and I mean difficult time during those sad, sad days. But never did I hated the father of my child. Sometimes I still miss him.
2. I don't have an internet connection at home, and just connect to the "linksys" that my bluetooth detect.
3. I used to be a ramp model with a waistline of 23. (don't even try to guess what my tummy measures now.)
4. I took architecture because my father is a frustrated architect.
5. I only had 2 boyfriends in my lifetime (till present date). One is the father of my child.
6. I had more than 20 suitors back in college and high school.
7. I was once courted by a a college professor, that choose to teach our class for 4 straight years ever since he met me. LOL. Never got a failing grade from that difficult subject. LOL
8. I hate Easel Don, she was a budding ramp model a few years ago. On my last stint on the catwalk, she was so mean to me. Got so scared I never went for another go see after that.

I'd like to know some 8 facts about these beautiful people of the blogosphere:

Google Adsense Finally!

Finally there is some action in my google adsense. I have been blogging for more that a year now, and ever since I started I always have my adsense codes, around my site. But I never reached $1 per day. Today I got more than $1. Ok I know, this is very small because others are getting hundreds sometimes thousands per day. But this is an accomplishment for me. Maybe it has something to do with all the contest I joined. Hope my pagerank increase too. Ass well as my opportunities.

Yes, I have little J
How old are they?
She is 3 years old and 4months.
What do you think is the ideal age for the kids to be sent to school?
I enrolled little J in school when she was 3. I wish I sent her earlier, she even has a classmate who is 1yr 10mo then. They are doing pretty well too. Its ok to send kids to school early if it is play based. She is enrolled in Kiddo Academy, which is more of a play school than traditional. This way she is having so much fun. They even have a big playroom that they use everyday. I think laying stimulates her mind. She is very smart, I just got her report card last weekend and her average is 93. I also send her to Kids Ahoy for more creative activities.
Would you consider sending your 3-year-old toddler to school? Yeah, definitely
.

Getting rid of bed bugs

When little J was a baby, we sleep on the floor. I lined the whole bedroom floor with rubber matts and layed the bed mattress on the floor in fear of little J falling from the bed when we are asleep. She was also learning to crawl back then so its really appropriate. The negative result was, she also peed on the rubber matts, floor. We always clean it up, but there are some bacterias under the floor matt that stayed there. As a result we got bed buds, in out case rubber matt bugs. I dont know how to get rid of bed bugs. What I did was took out all the rubber matts and went to the derma. She gave me a lotion and so much bills after that. Good thing my skin healed, very few spots are left. About the bed bugs, they are all gone. Because we transferred from one room to the next. Just to stay away from them. I found this website, on how to get rid of those bed bugs. Next time I know what to do.

Millete thank You!

Thank you so much for all the advice. You are right, I just have to always refresh the view and viola, there it is, some more moolah. Cool, I really learned a lot from you. An d earned a lot of money too.

Reverse Phone Look Up

Did you ever have a prank caller, I always get calls from somebody before. He/she will call everyday sometimes more than once and wouldn't say a thing. He/she will just listen. I always wanted to find out who has been calling. Too bad there is no Reverse Phone Lookup then. That was 10 years ago, back in high school. Maybe, he was juts an admirer.

There was no "National No Call Registry" to look into. Sometimes I go along the prank caller, whenver he calls I tell a little joke, or tease him. Soon he will hang-up. It was fun doing that. Persistent as he was, he will still call every once in awhile.

Woman to woman

Back in college I have a friend who is very pretty and likes to wear, beautiful lady clothes. She is always dressed to impressed. She always wear make-up too. So I was really shocked to know that she is a lesbian. This website Florida Lesbians reminded me of her. If you go into the website you'll see lots of beautiful women. Not at all boy looking, or what they call butch. They are all lady like and beautiful.

We miss the Kids Ahoy NAture Trip

I've always wanted to join the Kids Ahoy Nature trip. We were soppuse to go to La Mesa ecopark, but we missed it because whe I woke up that morning it was raining really hard, we are just going to ride an fx and taxi going there. I opt to stay at home. Looks like I did the right decision.

Dating a Millionaire

I've always wanted to have lots of money, and to find somebody who will love and take care of me. There's no better way to look for that dream in finding Millionaire Men. Sleep Over

I am both proud and sad tonight, littl J left to sleep over nang-nang's house. It was just a joke when nong-nong asked her if she would like to come with them, to our surprise she said yes. Even if I reminded her that I will not be by her side tonight, she said its ok she will sleep beside nang-nang and we will see eachother tomorrow. I'm sad that she's ok sleeping without me, but I'm also proud that she has the courage and can understand that we will still see eachother soon. She's growing up so fast, in all aspects, physically; she's looks like a 5year old already. Intectually;sometimes I feel that she speaks and comprehend like a 40 year old. She has so much maturity for a 3 year old. Emotionally, just like tonight, leaving mommy to spend the night with nong-nang. I think its much more harder for me that it is with her. I should be really proud, but I'm still sad. I'm so used to her, sleeping on top of my arms, hence the term "braso-braso". She always lays her head on top of my arms when she sleeps. Most of the time my arms get sore as we wake up in the morning, but I'm used to it. I love it that way, having her really close, feeling her hair on my arms, hearing her breathing as I sleep, most of the time I even get a hug.

Healing Priest

The healing priest Fr. Suarez died today. This is such a sad news. He is still very young and he has done a lot of good to our fellowmen. I understand how that happended, he is always in a huge crowd giving healing service. The crowd ranges from 500 to thousands. I can just imagine the stress and hardship he is going though everyday to give this people the miracle that they wantred.

No hassle

Papa was the one who brought us the school and office today. It really a good thing, because little J wanted to spend some more time with him. Today is also her long test, and riding papa's car gave her a boost to doing really well. She's such a Grandpa's girl.

Return Call

I've been very busy lately, since the nanny left. I did all the chores at on top of the usual work stuff, so most of the time I cannot attend to the phone. There are calls that I missed good thing cellphonesCaller Identification . I can see who called and I can return their call or send them a message. Its also a good way of knowing who the prank caller that has been disturbing you.

How to make money on Real Estate

I have heard a lot of success stories on Real Estate. I saw a TV interview with a Filipina who made it big in Hawaii, making money on real estate. So I thought how did she do that? I tried this before, I tried to do Real Estate. No success for me. I thought it maybe not be the right thing for me. I am an architect, and I did sales, this should be easy for me. There are a lot out there that can do it, and they don't even have the same background as me. There is a lot to learn.

Then I found Nouveau Riche Scam, a lot to learn in this blog. This talks about stories of people who made it big doing real estate. All have different background, different strategies. There is really no formula into it, there are guidelines that you can follow but it really depends on how hard you work and a little luck. It is based on stories of alumni from Nouveau Riche University, a school that offers real estate investing and business related classes. But is this Nouveau Riche Scam? It is not a scam, this is true in depth lessons that will surely give results to those who strive to do well in real estate business. Go and chek it out if Nouveau Riche Scam, but I assure you its not.

The Parenting Company Part 1

Right after card issuance we went to SM Mall of Asia to attend a

parenting seminar

by Maricel Laxa Pangilinan. A few minutes ago as I write my other blog, I cant even believe that I am already getting a class card for my daughter, sinking in went really fast. So we went for a parenting seminar. Its titled "Raise Smart Kids", sponsored by Ovaltines. I went there with my bestfriend Owie and her son Krsito.

We first took a bus going to Glorietta, we we're to be picked up by Owie from them, but before that we had to eat first. We ate at Pizza Hut on the ground floor. We ate, can you guess? Haha, got you. Of course, the first thing that went to your head is "pizza". But no, we ate spaghetti with meat balls and had cinamon bars for dessert. We had a wonderful time eating, infact this whole was really fun. I wasnt the mommy monster. I am so determined to keep my temper. So back to the story we went to take the bus after that and meet Owie.

We got off at Ayala and we took the underpass going to Glorietta. When I called Owie she in McKinley already which is very close so we practically run. We sat infront of Tower Records. We just sat there on the steps, we waited, and waited, we got excited with every car that comes around the bend. It took awhile, so while waiting, we sang. Very simple, we sang, "tita Owie where are you?", "tita Owie where are you?" I wish I can sing it again here, but uploading a song might take awhile. So I'd rather not.

Jews

There is a lot of forums in the internet. I'm fond of hopping from one site to the next. There are a lot of intereting people in the blogosphere. I recently found Jewish Women, a chatroom that share a lot different ideas on anything and everything. They are all over the blogosphere and all over the world. Its nice to know more about people. Their beliefs, their lifestyle and just talk about anything under the sun.

Weekend Snapshot#7

Gothic Scene

BAck in college I have a friend who is so into Gothic. She wore a lot of black, and even had some black lipstic too. It was taboo, its was scary and it was cool. I really find Goth Girls interesting. They dare to be different. For me, there's a lot of courage and confidence in them. It is a growing community now, a lot are into gothic scene. Daring to be different, to be cool. You can find a lot of them in chatrooms.

Memory Filled is having a contest

I am holding a contest in my other blog Memory Filled. I recently won in a contest that I found in the blogosphere, so keep the blessing pouring. I;m giving it back. Its very easy to join. Hope a lot will join the contest.

Girls with Tattoo

When I was a lot younger, I also find tatoo sexy. I just didnt have the courage to have one. There are a lot of Tattooed Girls now. The fad is coming back. Many celebreties have that. Some men find women with tatoo sexy. There is even a chatroom now where they can meet them. I scanned it too, and there are a lot of pretty women there. SOme have funky scary tatoos, some have dainty butterflies. Interetingly cute.

Early Bird

Monday is color coding day. We use to take a cab going to school on Mondays, but today we took the car. We woke up really early, 5:30am and took a bath immedietly. Surprisingly little J was very cooperative. It wasnt hard waking her up. She stood up and took a bath. We ate breakfast in school. We are so early we are already there at 7:15. Her class starts at 8:00. Let's see if we are going to do this again next week.

Christian Lifestyle

My best friend Owie, is a devoted christian now, and loved God so much. A far cry from who she was a few years ago. It was a complete turn around, her lifestyle her belief. Its a good thing that she is so into God now. She works for a radio station now, that is also devoted to Christian Lifestyle. There is a lot of cool things about God now, radio station and even Christian Chatrooms. They also have a Christan publication, that has my god son, Owie's son as the cover. You can check that out in my wordless Wednesday entry.

Ateneo vs La Salle UAAP Championship

"Ateneo Vs. La Salle"

This is a very critical championship for the UAAP season 70 The rival teams of La Salle and Ateneo will be vying for the trophy. This two teams have been a long time opponent for the longest time. Its like a the rivalry is part of their blood handed down from one generation to the next.

So lets see who will win the UAAP, is it
Ateneo or La Salle?

I've heared tickets are gone is just one hour. Everybody from La Salle and Ateneo wanted to watch the September 26 championship game.

Starting a business made easy

I wanted to start my own business because I want to spend more time with my daughter. Working in the office takes so much time away from her. I found this site that helps me do just that.I am in need of small business financing since I don't have enough capital they can help me with fast funding. There are some basic forms to fill up, just easy process to go through. They are also very easy to talk with, accommodating, excellent service. While that is in process, I will be consulting my cousin for more advice on starting business.

Wordless Wednesday #16

In todays WW I will not be posting my daughters picture but my godson's. This is for e magazine cover for a Christian publication.

Fitness and dates

I wanted to shed some pounds. We do have excercise equipments at home but its no fun to excise. If there is someoen who will motivate me in my fitness routine I think this will give me more progress. So why not take two birds in one stone? There is a website where I can meet fitness enthusiast, or people who are also striving to get fit. Its called Fitness Chatrooms. I can get more tips from them regarding my fitness routine. I bet they have a lot of ineteresting stories to tell reagrding their journey too.

Ebay purchase

I did my first purchase over the net. Its books for little J, found used still nice books at ebay and I bid on 5 of them. I got lucky, I won! The funny part is, I forgot all about it until I recieved an email from the seller reminding me. I so sorry, I'm really sorry its just that me schedule and my over all well being is kind of messed up this past few weeks since we dont have a nanny. I will be rushing to the BPI this lunch time to deposit the money.

Actually, I can just let go of the books since I can find more good books in the bookstore and I'm also going to but books for donation to Kids Ahoy for Mommy Millete. She gave a doantion for the Share-a-book drive and I promised to show the books here and pictures of me handing it to Kids Ahoy, but I just can find the time now. I will do that hopefully this weekend.

Catholics Meet

Parents say that if you are looking for the right guy to love dont look for them in bars or malls. It would be nice if you meet them in church, because that way you're sure they are faithful catholics. In the modern world we have now, you can meet catholics online. This is one website Catholic Match that we can check to do just that. Sure you can still go to church but, we should go to church for God right? That should be our main purpose and not to meet guys that are potential husbands. So if you are still in search of the right guy to love. You can check this site.Im sure you'll find interesting and faithful men in there.

Prechool Worries

I've always found little J very smart. She has always been advance in all he milestones. She started walking at 7 months. Reading letters at 1yr 3 months. Addition and subtraction at age 2. She can solve 24 piece puzzle in less that 3 minutes when she was 1yr 5 months. She can now read 3 letter word and writes most of the letters on her own. What worried me is that when she started going to school, I noticed that her developments are not that advanced anymore. Its sort of just in normal advancements. Its scary for me. I thought she will nurture her knowledge more if she goes to school, but since the school is in a specific curriculum she also follows the same curriculum which she already knew. She knows all her lessons already, she also feels bored at times because of it. I enrolled her in an intensive class thinking she will get more attention because its not just an ordinary class. I even talked to the teacher and asked if they can give advance or more challenging lessons to her.

On the other side is that I'm also happy for her. Because she gets to enjoy being a kid, not too pressured because of er abilities. On the other side I also feel that her intelligence is being wasted if they don't give more challenging stuff for her.

Web Design

A few weeks ago Papa asked me if I knew any web design site. So I refered him to Heritage Web Solutions. He needs to put up a website for their company. They are a company that sell heavy equipments. They need to upload photos of their products and it has to be expalined well to the clients. Specifications are a must to see in their website. Typical template wouldnt be good to use. They should have a website that is designed specifically for thier use, for their company. This website is a good choice for them. They create wonderful layouts that will surely looks beautiful and professional.

Dubai, Singapore or Hong Kong

I'm suppose to go to Dubai for a business trip to look for clients for our outsourcing company but a few days ago, my boss talked to me and told me that I'm not going anymore. I was a little sad, because I was really looking forward to go there. I have a lot of cousins and friends there and they are already expecting me. It's sad, I have plans of spending time with them, when I get there. These are friends that I haven't seen for a long time.

That's the bad news. The good new is that I'm going to Singapore and Hong Kong. Yippee! I'd like to see Mickey Mouse, I can go to Disneyland now. I'm so excited.

What is happening to the world?

I am scared of what's going to happen to the world. If we watch the news there are always crimes, maybe thats the reason why California Sex Offenders came about. It is a website that has a list of the persons who committed such crimes. Its nice that we can check on the profile of this people just to be cautious. We will never know if the new next door neighbor is in this list, that way we can be more careful.

Papa came home

We went to the airport last night to fetch Papa. He went for a business trip in China for a week. Needles to say little J missed him a lot. This morning she went to Papa's bedroom to wake him up. As soon as she opened her eyes she said, " I want to go to Papa". She even wanted to be seated right next to him during breakfast and insisted that we go home early today to be with him.

Do you want to know?

The internet is a good source of information, there are a lot of things that you can search for in the internet even Divorce Records. There is a website now that you can use to search for divorce record, it may come in handy if you would like to know if the guy courting you was previously married. Here in the Philippines, divorce is an on going battle. Should we have it here or not. Some say it should be legalized but some say that its not proper. There are different stand regarding this issue, but it is widely accepted all around the world, specially in the US.

Guilty Mommy

I'm really guilty of not being sweet to little J these few weeks. We still dont have a nanny for her and the chores are piling up. Im getting so exahusted for all the things that i have to do. I do everything, I wake up very early morning to prepare food for her luch and snacks in school. I cook food for the whole day in the morning, breakfast, lunch, dinner. I clean and wash all the dishes too. I wah her unifrom for school too. I give her a bath, and dress her up for school. I am also the one who brings and picks her up from school. I do all this everyday, not to mention that I also have an 8-6 job. After I fetch her from school, I also have to do everything all over again when we reach home. I'm so tired already. Hope God sends me a nanny soon.

Black Beauty

When I was a little girl I wanted to have lighter skin, its only now that I realized that dark skin is also beautiful. There are a lot of people out there also feels the same way about Black Dating . There are beautiful women who posted their profiles here. Im sure, a lot of them are beutiful, smart and interesting. I particularly like the looks of Halle Berry and Tyra Banks. They are considered one of the most beautiful faces at some time.

Im happy already

Its tita Nelly’s birthday, right after Divisoria, we went home to take a bath and change and we are off to tita Nelley’s birthday. A lot of food, but I only ate the Kare-kare, my all time favorite,Jea ate fried chicken and rice. She was so excited to show everybody her new bag, the one we bought from Divisoria. It’s a clear hello kitty she wont take it off her shoulders.

She didn’t like the stinky smell of divisoria, but when we got back in the mall she was asking to go back outside the road, We didn’t want to, she started a tantrum and cried, she really wanted to go back outside. Good thing I saw the bag. So when I showed it to her, she immediately st oped crying. She picked the pink big one. Its very cheap only for P50 so I bought it. She started walking, and crying the bag, when we got in the car. She blurted. “I’m happy already!”

Divisoria trip

Sunday morning, Mama wanted to go to divisoria to buy more cloth for the table napkins. I wanted to go too beause I’d like to go and look for foam sheets or felt cloth for the sewing class for Kids Ahoy. Nong-nong, Mama, me and little J went early to avoid lots of shoppers. We parked at Tutuban Center and walk all the way to Ilaya. To all the Filipinos, you all know what Divisoria looks and smell like. So little J not used to that smell, she was walking so slow because she’s covering her nose and a little shocked of all the people and activity around. I can hear her say “ang baho, ano yung mabaho” (”stinky, what’s that smell?”) I pity her, she’s just a little too shocked, its her fisrt time to experience that. I also amazed and find it a little funny. She’s there for just a few minutes and I carried her most of the time. She had her softdrink and siopao that we bought from Chowking as soon as we got in the mall. And she cant stand it. Does she even know that there are a lot of kids, that live in areas that smell like that? Does she know that there are a lot of kids who sleep on those streets and lay down on muddy and dirty roads because they don’t have a home. Does she know that she’s so lucky to eat good food whenever she wants to, while other kids don’t even have a chance to eat clean food? She doesn’t, and I don’t want to pressure her know, ing all about the cruel world right now, she’s only 3. But I also let her peak once in a while in the lives of others. It’s nice to be 3, you don’t have to worry above the worlds cruelty, the painful reality.

Where is he now?

I already disclosed here in my blog that I'm a single mom. My daughter never saw her father. I'm thinking will there be a time that she will look for him? But how can she do that? She might have to use a People Locator Services. It would be hard for her, as of the moment that its only been 3 years, its already hard for her to locate him. What about years from now? I really wouldn't know what will happen. All I can do is pray that she feels my overflowing love for her so that she will not feel the loss of a father. So that she doesnt have to go through the same pain that i experienced.

No Classes, No Rain, No where to go

It was raining really hard last night because of the typhoon Marce, but Jea's class push thru yesterday. Today, the sky is clear, there's a bit of rain but not as much as yesterday. We we're shocked to see Kiddo dark, no lights are turned on. OMG! there is no class. Jea and I are already in school. They are doing their genral cleaning, all the desks and chairs are all over the place. I didnt get any message that classes are suspended and I;m pretty sure that there is no announcement on the news that morning.

What can I do? I tried calling Nang-nang. Thank God she doesnt have classes today. I can bring Jea there and pick her up after office. She has always been my my life saver in times like this. Thank you so much to Nang Nang Pau for taking her in. She had a lot of fun playing with you ang Bianca.

Bikers Forum

My brother has been very active with sports a few years ago. I remember this triathlon competion that he joined a few years ago in Ayala Alabang, he learned about the competition in a Biker Chat. Along with his friend Mike they run all around the village. I think that was about 3km, then bike for another 5km and before doing that they also have to swim a 3km in the village pool. He didn't win any award, I think he finished 70th, but He had fun. We had fun cheering for Him.

Yaya dilema

My daughters yaya left friday last week, supposedly for a weekend vacation, she has to go to the province to visit her daughter who just gave birth. So understandbly, I allowed her to go on the condition that she should be back by Monday evening. It's already tuesday and normally it wouldnt bother me much if she extend for another day. But what really makes me mad is that I called her yesterday to ask where to send the money for her fare back. I already gave her her salary plus additional 500 for her fare back, but ofcourse she must have spent it already. So again, i dint get mad if she ask for additional since I can deduct that from her next months salary. So I called her phone, (the phone that I lend her) so technically its still mine. I just let her use it so that I can communicate with her, from time to time to ask about my daughter. I let her took it to the province so that I can still communicate with her. So back to my story, I got really mad when some guy answers the phone. So its
a. somebody borrowed the phone from her, which is also wrong, since I specifically let her bring that phone so that we can contact her, so how can we talk to her if the phone is not woth her!
b. somebody stole it from her? but I dont think this is possible since she just texted us last sunday to ask for he money.
c. she sold the phone to sombeody else because she doesnt have any intention of coming back.

Its wrong in so many ways.
1. Its not her phone, to give, to lend or to sell.
2. She could have just told us that she doesnt have any intention of coming back.
3. We were so nice to her, so nice. We let her bring her child and stay with us when she asked us to. We even send her kid to school. And I just gave her a salaary increase. I am the one who brings and fetch my daughter to/from school. As soon as I came home, Im the one who attends to my daughters need.

My daughter is really nice, she can take care of herself already. She preapares her own milk. Eats on her own. Goes to the bathroom on her own. Actually she doesnt need much of caring.

Why do we always get yaya like them this is her 10th yaya already in 3 years. This is the 3rd time that the yaya took the cellphone too. I really hate them. Now, I'm thinking if I should get another one. It would be really hard for me to dop all the chores, but it can be done. Just a little more effort on my part. I will just hire a labndera for the laundry. My cousin can look after Jea twice a week. I think I can do this. I'm sick and tired of all those Yaya who thinks their god's gift to mommies. I can live without them, Jea can live without them. I just have to plan her days when she's out of school and give it to my cousin before I live so that she will still have a productive day. I just hope my cousin would say ok if I ask her to stay with Jea for 2days a week.
